Featured product

Thinband® band heaters

Developed as an alternative to traditional mica band construction, the flexible one-piece Thinband design opens to the full length of the band — so it can be installed around a barrel without stripping the surrounding equipment first.

FAQ

Heat & Sensor Technology FAQ

It's a flexible one-piece construction that opens to the full length of the band, so installation around a barrel or cylinder doesn't require dismantling what's in the way. Performance is comparable to mica in the same duty, and it can be ordered in stock or custom configurations.

Yes. Send the heater type, dimensions, voltage, wattage, lead or terminal style, operating temperature, photos and what it heats. That information is normally enough to identify a Heat & Sensor Technology replacement or a custom build.

We do — bayonet, adjustable-depth, melt-bolt, rigid-tube, spade, shim, washer and lug thermocouples. And because we're a thermal systems integrator, we can quote the controller and power switching that go with them.

Need a Heat & Sensor Technology quote?

Send a part number if you have one — otherwise send the specifications and a photo, and we'll do the matching.
